Contact us

Drumchapel Cycle Hub is supported by a fantastic team of local people, with a range of skills and knowledge. We provide regular training and support in order to help develop skills, such as cycle leader, cycle trainer, first aid, bike maintenance and more, in order that we can utilise local people with a familiarity and knowledge of the local community.

Drumchapel Cycle Hub fully support the development and of young people in a volunteering and leadership role. Our young volunteers include Maryann, Ally, Joshua, William James and KJ who, between them assist at our Kid’s Bike Club, group rides after school clubs, events and bike maintenance.

We have a wonderful group of local people who also help support our cycling and events, without whom we cannot operate effectively. We also work in close contact with local schools and groups including Blairdardie Primary, Drummore Primary, Langfualds Primary, G15 Youth Project, Active Schools, COPE Scotland, Chance2Change and Drumchapel St. Marks.

Susan is our committee Chair and a dedicated volunteer with our young people and in particular, a popular leader at our Kid’s Bike Club. She has lived and worked in Drumchapel all her life and has extensive local knowledge. Susan is a Play on Pedals instructor, first aider and safeguarding trained.
